As Mayor of the City of Stanton it is my pleasure to welcome you to the City website. The citizen’s of Stanton are very proud of our community and all it has to offer. Stanton is rich in opportunities for our citizens. There is local pride within the business community which offers many services to our citizens. We pride ourselves in our amenities which are a vital part of the community. Among these amenities are the Stanton Health Center, the Stanton Public Library, Elkhorn Acres Golf Course, Swimming Pool, Maskenthine Lake Recreational Area, Stanton Historical Museum as well as beautiful parks. We are also very proud of our strong K-12 school system.
Stanton has an abundance of community minded volunteers that serve on various city boards. Our Stanton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Departments are comprised of dedicated men and women who sacrifice their time to service people in need. The Stanton Community Club is very active thanks to the visionary members who participate in many activities throughout the year. The Stanton Community Club and the Stanton Fire Department work diligently every year to have the finest Fourth of July parade and fireworks display in the area.
The City of Stanton is the county seat for Stanton County. The county courthouse is located within the city limits and is a valuable asset to the community. The Stanton County Fair is held at the local fairgrounds every summer with something fun to offer everyone.
