Stanton County Heritage Museum

The old City Hall of the City of Stanton was acquired by the Stanton County Historical
Society in 2000 for use as a heritage museum. This structure is an excellent historical site
in its own right --- it has been the site of the city accounting, ladies lounge, wedding
receptions, graduations, examinations, banquets, conferences, proms, dances, as well as
the fire hall.) An enthusiastic community has supplied many artifacts, memorabilia,
photographs, and archives to provide insights into the past and a nostalgic visit to the
fleeting and informative "good old days." Open Saturday afterrnoon from May to
October or by appointment at 402-439-2208. Address: 1106 Ivy Street, P.O. Box 234
Stanton, NE 68779-0234. (link to photo)

administrators who made the system succeed. The Stanton Community Club and the

efforts funds for the moving the school house to the current site adjacent to the Heritage
