The
purpose of this organization shall be to encourage a spirit
of cooperation and unity among the area residents and to establish
and develop promotional programs and activities to advance the
general welfare of the community.

Community Club Activities and Sponsorships:
1. Welcome and promote new businesses to our community
2. Send a representative to meetings of the Northeast Nebraska
Travel Council. This representative also served on the state
board for Nebraska Tourism and promotes the community of Stanton
in the Nebraska Tourism Guide.
3. The Community float which promotes our community is shown
in many area parades with all volunteers the Community Club.
4. The annual Fourth of July Celebration in Stanton is done
with Community Club funds and volunteers.
5. Sponsor city wide garage sales in the spring and fall.
6.
Co-sponosor Bloodmobile visits by Providing Orange juice & Coffee
7. Fund a college scholorship every year for a Stanton High School
Senior
8. Co- Sponsor Boy's Stater
9. Select Stanton's Outstanding Citizen(s) to represent Stanton
in Norfolk's La Vistef celebration.
10. Co- sponsor Teacher's welcome breakfast every fall
11. Host several community speakers during the year at our meetings
12. Sponsor and carry out annual Christmas Lighting Contest
13. Co-sponsor the Tour of Homes
14. Welcome new members to the community with a packet from local
businesses.
15. Host the Community Club fish fry
16. Sponsor and carry out Heritage Day in Stanton.
17. Sponsor "Meet the Candidates" before each primary
and General Elections
