Budget
The budget for the Fire department is $23,000 for 2006-2007 fiscal year. The City pays for operating expenses for the vehicles, insurance and utilities. The Stanton Rural Fire Board reimburses the City for ½ of fire department expenses. Income received from donations is used to purchase new equipment.
