The Stanton Community Club will be hosting a "Meet the Candidates" Forum on Friday, April 28, from 7-p p.m. at the Stanton VFW Club. Any Brechbill, president of the Community Club, will be the moderator.

Refreshments will be served beginning at 7:00p.m., with the forum starting promptly at 7:30 p.m. Coffee and cookies will be served by members of the Stanton Woman's Club.

The following is a list of candidates invited to the forum: those running for United States Senate; Member of U.S House of Representatives; Governor, Secretary of State; Auditor of Public Accounts; Attorney General; State Treasurer; Member of the Legislature; member Board of Regents University of Nebraska; Member Board Governors- Northeast Community College and Director Lower Elkhorn Hatural Resources District.

Also invited were those running for local offices, including city, county, and school: County Clerk; County Assessor; County Sheriff; County Treasurer; County Commissioner, District 1 and 2; County Weed Board member; School Board, Dist 3; Mayor, City of Stanton and City Council, Wards A and B.
